October is Operation Christmas Child month, sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse. Take a plastic “shoebox” from the lobby, fill it with suggested items, and return it by October 25th. These boxes, filled with love and hope, will be distributed to children around the world at festive outreach events that introduce the gospel to them in a very meaningful and child-friendly way. In many instances, these shoeboxes are the first time they hear about Jesus!
