BIBLE STUDIES & GROUPS

Something powerful happens when we explore the Bible together. As we mutually share insights and personal impressions, the words we're studying take on new and profound life.  So, we encourage people to delve into the Bible alongside others.

To see our current weekly list of summer Bible studies, view the bulletin on our app.  For more information, contact the church office. If the Bible study meets online, click the links below to join via Zoom.  Don't see your Bible study? Our app is updated weekly!

The Providence of God

The world we live in can seem chaotic and upside-down. How are we to make sense of this and live calmly in such a world? If God is good, why is there so much suffering in the world? Can my prayers change God’s mind? The Providence of God is a 6-part Bible study, led by Sandy Cornelius in the Fellowship Room on Sundays at 9:30am, addressing these questions & mysteries, giving you a sense of peace even in the chaos. (In-person only)

Vicar Ethan Berglund will also be leading a 4-week Bible study on Christian iconography and its meaning and relevance on Sundays at 9:30am in Room 403 (in-person only).

Small Groups

We all need a group of people around us so we can share our celebrations, our struggles, and our faith.  The early Christians not only met together as a large church, but they also shared meals in people's homes.  Our small groups are designed to help our church develop authentic friendships and live out our faith in local communities.  To encourage parents with young children to be in a small group, we offer partial reimbursement for babysitting costs.

Are you looking to meet with your small group?  All our groups meet at different times, but when your group is going to meet, click below:

Young Adults & Seniors

Christianity is not meant to be an individual pursuit.  There are over 50 occurrences in the Bible where followers of Jesus are told to love, support, or encourage one another.  So, building genuine friendships and walking alongside other people in our faith journey is paramount.

Young Adults

This group of young adults meets throughout the year for fun outings and fellowship. They also have a monthly book club and hold occasional events like Oscar & Super Bowl parties!

SENIORS

Our seniors gather for local trips, potlucks, and informational presentations. One of the highlights of the year is the senior luncheon in January featuring a free gourmet meal! For more information, contact Kim Cramer.
