Who we Are

In 1961 a handful of visionary Lutherans formed a mission congregation to reach the Mesa community with the good news about Jesus.  Today we still exist for the same purpose!

Through all the changes over 60+ years, we are still a community centered around the love of Jesus we have received, and seeking to share it with others - especially our local neighbors.

What we believe

St. Luke's is a Lutheran church that believes God is always working to bring His restoring love into our world.  We all have issues and failures, but the Bible shows us our ultimate hope is in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  We hope to make this clear in everything we do from children's events to adult studies and from worship services to community projects.

We believe the greatest event in history was when Jesus lovingly gave up his life for us on the cross. All of our beliefs as a Lutheran (LCMS) church flow from this foundation of God's grace.
