Upcoming & Recurring Events
Get a jump on the holiday decorating with your own custom Christmas wreath! Pick from several designs and make one for yourself or a St. Luke homebound member – or both! Look for a list of items to bring/donate to spruce up our wreaths as we get closer!
Join us for a special “Fall Break” outing to the pumpkin patch at Mother Nature’s Farm! The farm is located at 1663 E Baseline Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85233.
APPS, formerly Parenting Our Parents, is a monthly group for anyone dealing with the aging process and looking for resources and support, often featuring specialist guest speakers. All are welcome!
Join us for a park playdate at Gene Autry Park!
Looking for a good time to give the women’s Thursday study a try? Join them October 15th at 10AM in the Fellowship Room as they begin a new Bible study with Sharla Fritz’ book, Distracted. Pick up a book this Thursday or reach out to the group leaders to reserve one. If you’d like to help offset the cost of books, please mark “book” on your $10 donation.
Join us at 11:45am in the Commons for brats, sauerkraut, apple cider, root beer, and apfelkuchen desserts! The bounce houses, 9-square, and yard games will be up and the staffed nursery will be available.
Take a break from the everyday and enjoy a weekend reconnecting, relaxing, and investing in your marriage. Join us for a refreshing marriage workshop filled with meaningful conversation, practical tools, and quality time designed to help you grow closer as a couple. Register by October 20th for this November 11-13th event at DoubleTree Hilton in Phoenix.
Looking for a musical way to get involved at St. Luke? Check out the chancel choirs! Practices resume Wednesday, October 21st at 6:30pm. Choir sings most Sundays at 8am worship, Christmas, & Easter.
Jack-o-lanterns aren’t just for kids! Come relax with us before the busy holiday season kicks off by carving pumpkins. This is a great event to bring a friend to! We’ll provide the pumpkins and carving tools – all you need is your imagination. We’ll even vote for the best pumpkin, and the winner will take home a small prize! Help us plan supplies and sign up below:
For three Sundays beginning October 25th, join a discussion group during the next sermon series, Lies We Believe! Groups will meet at 9:30 on Sundays and discuss the sermon topic of the day, starting with a short introduction video from Pastor Luke & Vicar Ethan. They’re a great way to connect with each week’s message and each other in a smaller, discussion-based setting. Sign up below!
Want to learn more about the St. Luke Endowment Fund, hear from the leaders of our 2026 grant recipients in person, and enjoy delicious Italian food? Join us for the 2nd annual Endowment Banquet! Meet our staff, get a campus tour, learn about St. Luke’s history, and find out what it means to be a Lutheran across three weeks of breakfasts on Sundays at 9:30am. These breakfasts happen in January, April, and September.
